Venusaur is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is known as the Seed Pokémon and is the final evolution of Bulbasaur, which evolves from Ivysaur at level 32. Venusaur is a dual-type Grass/Poison Pokémon, meaning it is proficient in both Grass-type and Poison-type moves.

Physically, Venusaur resembles a large, quadrupedal toad or dinosaur-like creature with a blue-green body, large leaves on its back, and a large flower blooming on its back. The flower on its back, referred to as a "flower bud," emits a sweet scent said to calm those nearby. In battle, Venusaur can harness the power of sunlight with its "Chlorophyll" ability, which boosts its speed in sunny weather.
